Think Positive conducted its first general assembly on Friday January 7, 2011 in the presence of 15 members and discussed the following:
The UK's National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is involved in a collaborative project that is helping to further the understanding of HIV viral protein structure which could lead to new molecular medicines.
For the first time and after less than 1 year of its establishment, Think Positive will be the lead organization of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region Networking zone at the International AIDS Conference (IAC) 2010 that will be held in Vienna between 17th and 24th of July, 2010 under the title "Unite to focus and act against HIV+ Phobia in MENA".
In the three decades since HIV was officially recognized, much progress has been made in developing drugs that allow HIV-positive patients to live longer and healthier lives.
